Although eating less can
result in weight loss, there are a few simple rules that must be followed.
You must eat at least 1,200 calories every day. Do not go hungry. The
number one rule for losing weight is to eat more. What?
That's right. You should
be eating more (often). You don't need to eat more food. You just need
to change your pattern of eating so that you are eating more often.
Avoid any weight loss diets
that tell you to only eat certain foods or to exercise for hours every
day. The simple method for losing weight is to reduce your caloric intake,
but not by much. If you can get an average amount of exercise every
day, like walking for an hour, then you should be able to avoid changing
your caloric intake by a whole lot.
Instead, just spread your
calories out over several meals. You don't even need to call these meals.
They are really just snacks. Have you ever notice how some people seem
to be able to eat all day and never gain weight? They don't gain weight
because their bodies believe that they are not being starved.
When we eat, this sends a
signal to the brain that says, "We are being fed, everything is
good, nothing to see here, move along." For every minute that we
don't eat, our brain is saying, "I wonder when we will get our
next meal. Are we being starved?"
If the brain determines that
the body is being starved, it will start to go into survival mode. When
it does this, it will start storing any calories that are taken in as
fat. So if you have been using any weight loss diets that require you
to go for extended periods of time without eating, throw them away!
Eating small frequent snacks
is the way to go. If you find that you are getting too hungry with this
method, you might want to buy some type of appetite suppressant that
contains Hoodia, like the products that are sold on this page.
